  Opti-Heal® Hydration Multi Purpose Dressing is a translucent flexible gel with excellent absorbability. It can absorb excessive wound exudate, maintain a moist healing environment, hasten epithelization as well as reduce healing time. This product can help relieve pain and causes minimal/reduced skin damage. Opti-Heal Hydration Multi Purpose Dressing are a self-adhesive (via acrylic adhesive surround), translucent, flexible gel with excellent absorbability. The Hydrogel Layer collects exudate and maintains a moist healing environment for accelerated healing and has a cooling and soothing effect on the skin. It can absorb wound exudate from lightly exudating wounds, maintain a moist healing environment, hasten epithelization as well as reduce healing time. The Hydration Multi Purpose Dressings offer dynamic moisture management for optimum healing. They’re breathable, allowing moisture vapour to escape from the wound while preventing foreign liquid from entering, offering a waterproof barrier. Appropriate levels of moisture are maintained at the wound site which can help accelerate healing with reduced pain and scarring.   Directions for use Ensure the dressing is the appropriate size for the wound. The dressing pad should be 1-2 cm larger than the wound. 1 Always wash hands before and after treating a wound. 2 Gently clean and dry the wound and surrounding skin. 3 Remove the dressing from the sterile wrapper. 4 Remove the release films and place the dressing centrally over the wound site. Avoid touching the side to be used on the wound. 5 Smooth the dressing down over the skin. 6 Remove the top plastic films from the dressing. Removal Examine the wound and apply a new dressing as required, if the wound is exudating then the dressing should be replaced at least daily. If there is little or no exudation, the dressing can be changed every 2 - 3 days until the wound heals but cannot be used continuously for more than 30 days. Remove dressing by pulling and slightly stretching a corner of the dressing. Gently remove the dressing from the wound bed and dispose according to local environmental procedures. Cleanse wound site as required. Retain box for future reference

  WARNINGS For external use only. Do not use on full thickness burns. Not to be used by people with a known sensitivity to Hydrogel or other similar polymers. Adverse Reaction: Occasionally dermal hypersensitive reaction. If you do develop a rash or experience an adverse reaction discontinue use and seek medical advice. Do not use if individual wrappers are open or damaged. Use each dressing only once. Do not cut the dressing, the dressing must remain intact. Do not use on infected wounds. Keep out of the sight and reach of children. Do not use after expiry date - see base of pack. If the wound does not appear to heal or continues to bleed, becomes reddened or swollen, seek medical advice. Each product should not be used for more than 3 days and the products cannot not be used continuously for more than 30 days. The product cannot replace medication, and combined therapy should be applied under the doctor's advice when there is severe infection. For patients with High Blood Pressure, the product should be used with caution, and the patient should be treated immediately if there is allergic reaction.
