Product Details
For the relief of acute diarrhoea in adults and children aged 12 years and over. It can also be used by adults of 18 years and over for the relief of short term diarrhoea associated with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), which has been previously diagnosed by a doctor.
How To Use
For oral use. Allow the tablets to dissolve in the mouth. For acute diarrhoea.
Adults and children of 12 years and over: 2 tablets to be taken initially, followed by 1 tablet after each loose motion. Do not take more than 6 tablets in any 24 hours. Do not take for more than 48 hours. Do not give to children under 12 years of age. For diarrhoea associated with IBS, which has been diagnosed by a doctor.
Adults only (18 years and over): . 2 tablets to be taken initially, followed by 1 tablet after each loose motion, or as previously directed by your doctor.
Safety Information
Do not take more than directed. Contains opioid. Loperamide works mainly on the gut but too much can cause serious heart problems and have opioid effects. If symptoms persist consult your doctor. Do not take more medicine than the label tells you to.
